Business Development Manager

Job responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the Dutch e-commerce market.

• Leverage your existing logistics and e-commerce network to generate qualified leads and accelerate GOFO’s market penetration.

• Promote and sell GOFO’s domestic and cross-border parcel delivery solutions to online sellers, marketplaces, fulfillment centers, and logistics partners.

• Conduct client meetings, needs assessments, and solution presentations to understand customer logistics requirements.

• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and pitching to pricing proposals, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.

• Work closely with internal teams such as pricing, operations, and product management to deliver competitive client solutions.

• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, consistently achieving or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets (volume, revenue, and margin).

• Monitor competitor activities, industry developments, and market trends within the Dutch parcel and logistics sector.

Job requirement

• 3–10 years of sales experience in the Netherlands, preferably within the parcel delivery, courier, or logistics industry.

• Proven track record in business development and consistently achieving sales targets.

• Strong existing network within the Dutch e-commerce ecosystem, including online sellers, fulfillment centers, or logistics providers.

• Highly commercially driven with a strong hunter mentality, capable of developing new markets and acquiring new customers.

• Self-motivated, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.

• Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
