To ensure the safety of the express delivery process and protect the legitimate rights and interests of our customers, we hereby solemnly declare that all items classified as dangerous goods under the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), or which are explicitly prohibited by local laws, regulations, international conventions, or transport rules in the areas of operation, are strictly forbidden within GOFO’s transportation network and facilities.
Part I. Definition and scope of prohibited items
1. Definition of Prohibited Items
1.1 Prohibited Goods and Substances refer to articles, commodities, or materials that are restricted from transport, storage, handling, or trade under applicable laws, regulations, or international conventions, as well as special items whose circulation is expressly prohibited or requires prior authorization.
1.2 Such goods and substances include, but are not limited to, items with explosive, flammable, toxic, infectious, corrosive, radioactive, or otherwise hazardous properties; articles that may cause personal injury, property damage, or environmental pollution during production, use, transport, storage, or disposal; items subject to excise control, arms and ammunition legislation, or intellectual property protection; narcotics and intoxicants; obscene or illicit materials; human or animal remains; live animals; and articles of cultural, monetary, or irreplaceable value.

2.2 Special Item: Lithium Batteries
Lithium batteries are a special category and must strictly comply with air and road transport regulations. GOFO only permits the following batteries for road transport, with the characteristics and quantities listed below, and they must be for use in one (or more) electronic equipment.
Regarding lithium content: lithium metal batteries must not exceed 2 grams of lithium content per battery, and lithium-ion batteries must not exceed 100 Watt-hours (Wh) rated energy per battery. For lithium-ion batteries with a rated energy between 100Wh and 160Wh, a maximum of 2 batteries per device are allowed. Batteries exceeding 160Wh are prohibited. Lithium metal batteries exceeding 2 grams lithium content are prohibited.
Quantity limits: Small lithium batteries (≤20Wh / ≤1g lithium): maximum 8 cells or 2 batteries per package. Medium lithium batteries (20-100Wh / 1-2g lithium): require special declaration, maximum 2 batteries per package.

Part II. Shipper's Responsibilities
1. The shipper is responsible for ensuring, in accordance with ADR requirements, that the shipped items are not dangerous goods, and bears full responsibility for their legality and safety.
2. The shipper must truthfully, accurately, and completely declare the contents of the shipment, including item description, quantity, material, and value (USD/EUR). Vague descriptions (e.g., “Gift”, “Parts”) are not permitted. Mis-declaration or concealment is prohibited.
3. The shipper must ensure that items are securely and reliably packaged, meeting safe transport standards, especially for fragile items, liquids, etc.
4. The shipper must cooperate with our inspection procedures and provide supporting documents such as purchase receipts, composition descriptions, authorization letters, quarantine certificates, prescriptions, etc., upon request.
Part III. Handling of Violations
If a shipped item is found to be among the prohibited or restricted items listed above, GOFO has the right and will immediately take one or more of the following measures, without assuming any liability for compensation:
- Refuse acceptance or terminate transportation;
- Return immediately to the shipper, with all incurred and subsequent costs (e.g., return shipping fees, storage fees, fines) borne by the shipper;
- Destroy immediately without prior notice: Applies to highly dangerous items or those required by law to be destroyed (e.g., drugs, flammable substances);
- Hand over immediately: Transfer the items and shipper’s information to the police, customs, state security departments, or other relevant government authorities;
- Seek compensation: Recover in full any administrative penalties, reputation damage, economic losses, etc., incurred by GOFO as a result of this violation.
Part IV. Limitation of Liability
If the shipper is found to have shipped prohibited or restricted items in violation of regulations, GOFO has the right to refuse acceptance, return the shipment, or hand it over to the competent authorities for handling according to the law. All resulting legal consequences and economic losses shall be borne solely by the shipper. GOFO shall not bear any liability for compensation.
GOFO assumes no responsibility for any legal consequences, economic losses, or personal injuries arising from the shipper’s concealment or misdeclaration of shipped items as prohibited goods.
Part V. Other Provisions
This statement lists details of prohibited items but is not exhaustive. GOFO reserves the right to refuse transportation of items not listed above at its sole discretion. If you wish to know if your goods fall within GOFO’s network service scope, please contact us at any time.
