Hub operations supervisor

Operational management of mechanized sorting :

– Supervise the entire flow: reception, automated sorting, dispatch and dispatch.

– Ensure balanced flows between the different sorting zones.

– Adapt organization to actual volumes and transport priorities.

– Ensure compliance with network cut-offs and departures.

– Anticipate saturation points and adjust resources.

Supervision of mechanization and tools :

– Real-time monitoring of sorter and conveyor performance.

– Identify reading anomalies or productivity losses.

– Coordinate with maintenance in the event of an incident.

– Implement workarounds.

– Provide technical feedback.

Management of operational teams :

– Supervise team leaders and coordinate operators.

– Define shift priorities.

– Adapt the workforce to the sorting rate.

– Ensure compliance with productivity/quality/safety standards.

– Lead operational briefings and debriefings.

– Maintain high standards in the field.

Transport and network coordination :

– Synchronize sorting with truck departures.

– Prioritize critical customer flows (express, D+1, same-day).

– Alert in case of transport risk.

– Ensure communication with hubs and secondary depots.

– Contribute to the fluidity of the global network.

Quality, safety and compliance:

– Ensure the application of safety procedures in mechanized areas.

– Prevent risky behavior around machines.

– Ensure package traceability and quality.

– Participate in incident analysis.

– Act as a relay for HSE policies in the field.

Performance and continuous improvement:

– Monitor KPIs in real time and at the end of the shift:

– Sorting productivity

– Automatic reading rate

– Error rate

– Respecting cut-off times

– Transport performance

– Produce end-of-shift reporting.

– Suggest organizational optimizations.

– Participate in hub continuous improvement projects.
