Hub Manager

Job responsibilities

Operational Management

• Supervise and coordinate all Hub activities (inbound, sorting, outbound, shipments, flows);

• Ensure achievement of performance objectives: productivity, service quality, and on-time delivery;

• Guarantee compliance with company processes and standards.

Team Management

• Lead and motivate teams (team leaders, sorters, warehouse operators, forklift drivers, administrative staff);

• Oversee, with support from HR and partner agencies, the use of temporary workforce (volume, quality, costs);

• Contribute to budget monitoring related to temporary staff and ensure optimal resource allocation;

• Recruit, train, develop, and retain permanent employees;

• Organize and supervise multiple shifts (morning, afternoon, night) to ensure continuity of operations;

• Define and monitor schedules, taking into account activity peaks.

Performance & Steering

• Monitor operational KPIs (service rate, error rate, operational costs, safety) and implement action plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs;

• Optimize the use of human, technical, and material resources while ensuring control of the Hub’s overall budget (human resources, equipment, energy, consumables);

• Prepare budget forecasts, track variances, and propose corrective measures to guarantee performance and profitability.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and hygiene standards (HSE);

• Ensure adherence to regulatory procedures (security, labor regulations);

• Guarantee compliance with the Labor Code and legal obligations regarding employment, working hours, and safety;

• Lead and monitor internal and external audits.

Coordination & Reporting

• Ensure regular communication with company management;

• Produce and analyze Hub activity reports;

• Collaborate with Transport, Last Mile, HR, IT, Administration, and the Data Analysis team.

Job requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in logistics, transportation, supply chain, industrial management, or equivalent.

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse, logistics hub, sorting center, or distribution center management;

• Significant experience in managing large teams (>50 people);

• Familiarity with budget management related to temporary workforce.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in logistics management tools and information systems (WMS, TMS);

• Strong understanding of transport and parcel delivery flows;

• Experience in managing performance indicators (KPIs).

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and ability to unite and engage teams;

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

• Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and activity peaks;

• Results-oriented with a strong focus on meeting operational objectives.
